Srinagar, Oct 30: The weatherman on Tuesday issued an advisory for Jammu and Kashmir predicting moderate rain or snow over the state from October 31 to November 03, which it said, might lead to temporary closure of highways.

An advisory issued here by Meteorological department said a spell of light to moderate rain/snow (over higher reaches) is likely from the night of October 31 to November 03 with maximum intensity on November 01 and 02 in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Moderate snowfall is expected 1-2nd Nov on Mughal Road, Zojila, Sinthan Top, north Kashmir, and mountains of Ladakh, mainly in Kargil district, which may lead to temporary closure of highways,” it said.
