Although Root 2 Fruit CC lost its first wickets very quickly but Shahid Thokar took his innings too long and scored a remarkable 50 runs and setting a base for other batsmen to contribute for their team.

Losing only 4 wickets Root 2 Fruit CC played a best inning in finals despite a pressure game and didn’t left any chance for opponents to overcome their confidence as every batsman made its contribution for the team to set a good total of 176 runs in allotted 20 overs of game.

However, at one point it seemed that Root 2 Fruit CC couldn’t score even 100 runs when their run rate was very low but Ashfaq khan helped his team to set a target of 176 runs.

While chasing the target of 176 runs, Kanwal Cricket Club lost the match by only 15 runs, however the game was quite interesting when Kanwal CC was steadily maintaining their run rate but in the slog overs of their innings they couldn’t do much with the bat.

Ubaid Ahmad with 34 runs and Umar with 2 runs were the leading scorers for Kanwal CC.

Shahid Thokar was awarded Man of the match trophy and Man of the tournament was awarded to Suhaib Bashir for his 10 Wickets and 212 runs in tournament.

Root 2 Fruit CC had been a great performer throughout the tournament as the team made its place in finals after defeating Bongam CC by 56 runs, while as Kanwal sports defeated Shopian whites by 23 runs in semi final of the tournament.
