Langate, Oct 29: Beighpora-XI defeated Renan Riders in the first match of Langate Premier League played on Monday at Bicherwara sports ground in Langate.
After winning the toss, Renan choose to bat first and put a total of 98 runs on the board in allotted 18 overs.
However, Beighpora-XI managed to chase the total in less than 13 overs. They lost only one wicket while chasing the total.
Rameez Raja scored 42 runs in 32 balls, while as Shabir Dar scored 32 runs. Rameez Raja also managed to get 4 wickets. He was declared man of the match.
This is the third edition of LPL, Langate Premier League, which was earlier started by MLA Langate Er Rashid.
It was thrilling competition between the Beighpora-XI and RENAN RIDERS.
