ITIAR organizes ‘Paigma-E- Raza’ seminar in Baramulla

Baramulla: To highlight the contributions of renowned Islamic scholar Imam Ahmad Raza -a seminar titled as ‘Paigame Raza’ was organised by Idara Tahqeeqat-e-Iman Ahmad Raza on Sunday at Dak Banglow Baramulla in which a large number of people and Islamic scholars participated.

In daylong seminar various prominent scholars and intellectuals highlighted contribution of Imam Ahmad Raza.

While highlighting contributions of Imam Ahmad Raza, a scholar Mir Imtiyaz Afreen said, “It is high time to peep into the life and literature of Imam Raza so that his actual life and contribution is learnt.”

Central Kashmir’s prominent scholar, Moulana Abdul Hameeed Nayeemi again highlighted the different perspective of Imam Ahamd Raza’s contribution in every sphere of Islam and its emphasis on the teachings of Prophet Mohammd (PBUH). Nayeemi explained Imam Ahamd Raza as “a scholar who had explained the true teaching and concept of Allah in Islam.”

Assistant Professor from Central university of Kashmir Ghulam Mustafa Zia said a lot of research work has been done on the literature of Imam Ahmad Raza all over the world and most of his literature is translated in Pakistan and India.

Another Scholar Dr Tanveer Hayat said “Imam Ahamd Raza’s literature is the best to understand the practice of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) for the humanity.” He claimed that many scholars have misinterpreted Ahmad Raza which is baseless. His work has also been plagiarized, he added.

Dr Muhammad Mushtaq Head of Department Arabic Department Urdu Degree College Baramulla said Imam Ahmad Raza is the torch bearer for everyone.

The proceeding of the seminar was conducted by young orator and Islamic studies budding scholar Anzar Nabi of Sheeri.
