SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 26: Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai Friday convened public outreach programme here under the aegis of JK Governor’s Grievance Cell and gave on the spot directions to the concerned for speedy redressal of the grievances being faced by the public.

Over 40 delegations and individuals apprised the Advisor with their issues and sought intervention of the government in ensuring redressal of them in a time-bound manner.

A delegation of scholars of Public Administration demanded inclusion of Public Administration subject at 10+2 level in the state. The advisor assured the delegation that he will get their demand examined.

A delegation from Auqaf Committee Zadipora Naibasti Anantnag demanded construction of road from Thak Boyen to Nai Basti.

A delegation of Joint Welfare Committee Chattergul Anantnag demanded establishment of Degree College at Chattergul.

A delegation from Wachhi and Latter Pulwama demanded release of third installment of Flood Damage Relief.

A delegation of M Tech students from University of Kashmir demands clarity in misinterpretation of recruitment rules laid down by Higher Education Department for recruitment of lecturers, teachers at college and universities.

Members of Adventure Tour and Travel Association raised issue of damaged roads in Mamal area and demand repair/macdamization of roads.

A delegation from Beerwah demands construction of a strong room for holy relic and other safety measures at Dargah Makhama Beerwah.

Inhabitants of Dobiwan Kunzar demanded demarcation of 25 Kanals of state land in their village and appealed government to utilize the same land for construction of maternity hospital and a play ground in the area.

A delegation of unemployed veterinary doctors association demands implementation of Rehbar-e-Pashu Pallan scheme for veterinary graduates in the state.

A delegation of Hindu Welfare Society of Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits led by CL Bhat said there are 40 internally displaced non Migrant Kashmiri Pandit families who have left their ancestral place and are presently living in different localities on rental basis in Srinagar city and other towns. They demanded to be rehabilitated in the quarters at Sheikhpora Budgam or at some alternate place.

A delegation of Sumbal demands completion of work on Water Tank at Ankhuloo-Sona Borum Rakhi-Shilvath Water Supply scheme and extending four-inch water supply pipeline to Malligund Mohallah. They also demanded up-gradation of Govt Middle School Rakhi-Shilvat Zone Sumbal Bandipora to High School.

A delegation of contractors said they have done several works under JK Tourism Department and demand release of their pending bills.

A delegation of plus 3 lecturers demands extension of Assured Career Progression (ACP) in favor of (10+2) Entry Level Lecturers on the analogy of other Gazetted Services including KAS,  KPS, Engineers and Doctors.

Inhabitants of Nehama Pampore demanded up-gradation of New Type PHC to Primary Health Centre and augmentation of Primary Health Centre Nehama with modern diagnostic machines, testing laboratories and ambulance facilities.

A delegation from Awantipura raised various issues of the areas including up-gradation of PHC Awantipura, building for Fire and Emergency Services, renovation of a spring, augmentation of water supply schemes, rehabilitation of land owners and house owners whose land and houses came under AIIMS.

A delegation from Tangmarg demands resumption of halted work of Mini secretariat at Tangmarg.

Several other delegations raised issues about their respective areas and demanded timely redressal of their greviances.

The Advisor raised all the issues raised by the delegations and individuals, with the concerned departments and directed for the prompt disposal of their grievances. He gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured that all their genuine demands will be looked into.
