SAMBA, OCTOBER 26: Exhilarating matches among the teams of block Samba, Nud and Sumb were today played in hockey, kabbadi, badminton, kho-kho and volleyball here at Sports Stadium Samba.
Today’s chief guest Jyoti Rani Salathia, Programme officer samba ICDS, congratulated the winners and asked them to take this opportunity to showcase their talent.
In volleyball event under 17 age category girls, Nari Shakti Volleyball club defeated Nav Vidhya hr sec school. In kabbadi event under 17 years of age category girls, Nav vidhaya hr sec school won over MI Sumb. In Kho-kho event under 17 yrs girls, Nav Vidhaya school defeated Ghss Nud, in under 20 yrs age category, kv samba won.
In badminton event, under 20 age category girls, Arushi defeated Anamika in finals, in above 20 yes age category, Meenu chanyal won over Tabassum chowdhary.
In hockey 2 matches were played whose final will played tomorrow.
