Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday issued an advisory for people living in the vicinity of Nowgam, asking them to stay away from the site of the gunfight “as it is being sanitized and cleared by Bomb Disposal (BD) squad of J&K Police.”
A police spokesperson said entering in such area can prove dangerous due to un-cleared explosive materials.
“People are requested to cooperate with police till area is properly checked/cleared by police from all the explosive materials,” he said.
