Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah condole demise of senior party worker

Srinagar, 16 October 2018: National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and vice President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned political and social activist from Loiser Srigufwara, Pahalgam Ghulam Rasool Bhat Jamaal.

In a statement issued here, both leaders paid glowing tributes to the departed soul who was actively associated with National Conference from 1977 till the time of his death. Dr. Farooq Abdullah extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

NC General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar later presided over a condolence meet at party headquarters Nawa e Subah where glowing tributes were paid to late Ghulam Rasool Bhat.

Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Pahalgam and District President Anantnag Altaf Kaloo, Central Secretary Sakina Itoo, South Zone President Dr. Bashir Ah Veeri, and members of District Committee Anantnag also paid glowing tributes to Late Ghulam Rasool Bhat and expressed grief and sorrow over his demise.
