One-day photography workshop held at GDC Baramulla

Baramulla, Oct 09: A one-day photography workshop was conducted by a Delhi-based photographer, Raman Barwal, at Department of Media Studies (DMS), Government Degree College Baramulla on Tuesday.

During the workshop, which was attended by students of different semesters of DMS, the expert covered various aspects of photography with focus on cameras and lenses, exposure triangle, shutter speed, aperture, depth of field, ISO and composition.

Dr Danish Nabi, HoD DMS said the workshop is an effort to help students learn skills directly from people of accomplishments.

Earlier, welcoming the guest who was assisted by Farhat Naik, online editor Kashmir Images, senior faculty member Akhtar Niyaz said the DMS will continue to train the students in crafts with the active involvement of professionals from the field.

The workshop was coordinated by Afzal Sofi, Incharge teacher films and photography.

Parvaiz Lone, Assistant Professor DMS proposed the vote of thanks.
