Pulwama: The students studying in upper girls primary school at Litter village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district are facing tremendous problems due to the lack of sufficient accommodation.

The girls primary school was established back in 1965 and later upgraded to upper primary school but still lacks basic infrastructure due to which enrolled students could study properly.

“The school has only three rooms to accommodate 50 students,” said, a local Jahangeer Ganaie, adding that it is the negligence of higher authorities who are not paying any attention to this long pending problem.

“There is no space for sports activities,” said, Ganaie.

“The lack of accommodation has a direct impact on the studies as teachers can’t fix classes simultaneously,” said another local, adding, despite this serious issue, the the staff of the school is trying to do the best to educate students.

When contacted  Chief Education Officer Pulwama, Mushtaq Ahmad Salroo said, “I will look into this matter and get back to you tomorrow.”
