Jammu, Oct 5: Two women were killed and another two injured when lightning struck them in a high-altitude area in Poonch district, police said on Friday.
Lightning struck a mud house (doke) at a high-altitude pasture land at Adhie in Mandhi tehsil on Thursday evening, they said.
Syeda Bani and Tanvi Bano, belonging from the same family, were killed and two others were injured, police said.
The bodies have been handed over to their family after post-mortem.
