BARAMULLA, OCTOBER 04: The third phase of training session for the ensuing Urban Local Body (ULB) polls was held here today during which election training was imparted to presiding officers, polling officers and other staff members.
The training was imparted under the overall supervision and directions of District Election Officer (DEO), Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash. The training session aimed at preparing the polling staff for ULB polls scheduled for October 8, 2018.
On the occasion, presiding and polling officers were acquainted with the operation of EVMs and related skills for the smooth conduct of ULB polls in the district.
The DEO impressed upon the election staff to perform their duties with utmost dedication and asked them to strictly adhere to the set guidelines.
Master Trainers briefed the participants about the duties and functions of poll staff.
Municipal Elections-2018: Poll timing from 7 am to 4 pm
SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 04: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), J&K, ShaleenKabra today said the polling timing for the 1st Phase of Municipal Polls-2018, scheduled to be held on 8 October 2018, shall be from 7.00 am to 4.00 pm.
