BARAMULLA, OCTOBER 03: In order to prepare the polling staff for the upcoming Urban Local Body elections of Municipal Council Baramulla scheduled to be held on 8th of October, a training session was today organized by District Election Officer at Dak Banglow Baramulla.
The training was imparted under the overall supervision and directions of District Election Officer (DEO) Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash.
The trainees were acquainted with the operation of EVMs and allied papers for the smooth conduct of forthcoming elections. All the polling staff members for the concerned MC attended the training.
During the training, the participants were imparted the requisite training about the use and maintenance of EVMs. They were also educated about the role and functions of polling staff for the convenient conduct of polls.
