Ganderbal, Oct 03: Football club Ganderbal today won final of the Khelo-India block Ganderbal football final as they beat FC Red lions Shalabugh by two goals to nil.
FC Ganderbal dominated the first half and created many chances but were unable to convert. No team was able to break deadlock in first half.
In second half FC Red lions started attacking play. They shot on target but goal keeper denied them.
FC Ganderbal broke the deadlock with a penalty kick.
A goal lead gave FC Ganderbal much needed confidence. They dominated the possession and in the run Sameer scored a beautiful goal and gave FC Ganderbal lead of 2-0.
FC Red lions tried to fight back but resilient defense of FC Ganderbal stood firm.
Match ended in score-line of 2-0 in favor of FC Ganderbal
