Bandipora: A state level inter district under -19 belt wrestling (boys and girls) contest concludes at SK sports stadium Bandipora on Monday.
The belt wrestling competition was inaugurated by Deputy Superintendent of Police AR Khan. Speaking on the occasion, Khan congratulated the students for participating in the competition. He said that sports is the best opportunity which can groom the hidden talent of the youth. He also appreciated the Bandipora wing of youth services and sports department for nurturing the sports talent of youth.
Around 39 students both boys and girls category (23 boys & 16 girls) from different districts including Bandipora, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag, and Kulgam participated in the competition. The first position was begged by Bandipora while as 2nd and 3rd positions went to Pulwama and Shopian respectively.
