Budgam, Oct 01 : Creating panic among locals, thieves here in the township stole nine cattle on Monday night.

Residents of Budgam told Kashmir Images that thieves struck into the cow sheds of four owners in the night hours and take away domestic animals.

They said that the three owners live within a stone’s throw from each other, while fourth one lives in old bus stand. The stolen cattle include cows and calves.

Appealing police to trace and arrest thieves, locals said, “We appeal police to launch investigation and book the culprits.”

When contacted Station House Officer Budgam Rafi Shah said that people came with an application and proper investigation will be initiated.
