BJP district president Bandipora booked for abusing BDO

Bandipora, Sep 30: Police on Sunday registered a case against a BJP leader in Bandipora after block development officer (BDO) filed a complaint against him for allegedly using abusive language in his office yesterday.

District president BJP Sheikh Waseem Bari has been booked under a Case FIR. No 136/2018 under section 353 RPC in Police Station Bandipora following the complaint, an official said.

Pertinently, Waseem Bari is contesting ULB polls for Bandipora municipal committee from Ward No. 13.

The official said that BJP leader has used abusive language against the officer in his office following which he filed a complaint in Police Station Bandipora.
