BARAMULLA SEPTEMBER 26: In order to prepare the polling staff for the upcoming Urban Local Body elections, a training session was today organized at DakBungalow here and Government Higher Secondary School Girls Baramulla.
The training was imparted by District level master trainers, DDEO Sameer Jan under the overall supervision of District Election Officer Baramulla Dr.Nasir Ahmad Naqash. The trainees were acquainted with the operation of EVMs and allied papers for the smooth conduct of forthcoming elections. A total of 724 polling staff members from different Departments attended the training session
During the training, participants were briefed about the duties and functions of polling officers. They were advised to perform their duties with utmost dedication and strictly adhere to the guidelines of Election Department for smooth conduct of Urban Local Bodies.
