Kupwara: Three more militants were killed by army along the line of control in Tangdar sector of Kupwara district in North Kashmir taking toll to five
Sources said that the army foiled an infiltration bid yesterday after launching a massive search operation in the forest area yesterday near LoC. In the initial exchange of fire, two militants were killed.
The added that three more militants were killed along the Line of Control in Tanghdar sector with the killing of three the toll reaches 5.
They said that the search operation was still on to look for more militants suspected to be hiding in the area.
Srinagar based Defence spokesperson Rajesh Kalia confirmed the killing of three more militants taking toll to five. He said the operation is still on.
