Bandipora shuts against militant killings
Bandipora, Sep 22: A complete shutdown was observed today in north Kashmir’s Bandipora against the killing of five militants during a gunfight with the government forces.
Five militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba were killed in a gunfight with the forces in Sumlar forests of the district yesterday.
All shops and other business establishments remained closed while public transport also remained badly affected due to the shutdown in Bandipora town and the Sumlar village, located four kilometers from the district headquarters.
