Forces launch CASO in Pulwama

Pulwama: A day after suspected militants killed three Special Police Officers (SPO’s) in Shopian, Government forces launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) in several villages of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

Reports said a joint team of forces 55RR, 53RR, 23 Para, SOG, and Crpf’s 182,183 BN launched a massive manhunt over a dozen of villages in Pulwama district.

Sources said that all entry and exit points have been sealed and door to door search searches have been launched in Achan, Lassipora, Aarmula, Alaipora, Batnur, Garbug, Naupora Lauren and Hajdarpora.

This is the second such massive CASO in Pulwama district since past one month.
