Victoria Reds beats Shahi Hamdan by 58 runs

Baramulla, September 20: In the ongoing North Kashmir Championship Baramulla, Victoria Reds defeated Shahi Hamdan by 58 runs at Wular Stadium Amberpora here on Thursday.

After winning the toss, Victoria Reds opted to bat first and set a target of 147 runs in allotted 20 overs. Ubaid with 34 runs emerged as the highest scorer, while as Tajamul added 28 runs for Victoria Reds. Rameez and Tariq took 2 wickets each for Shahi Hamdan.

In reply, Shahi Hamdan managed to score only 88 runs in allotted 20 overs and fell short of 58 runs to victory. Muzzaffar and Sameer added 23 runs each for Shahi Hamdan. Ovais scalped 3 wickets while Muntazir took 2 wickets for Victoria Reds.

Ovais was adjudged as player of the match for his brilliant bowling figures. The tournament is being organised by Baramulla Cricket Forum and Sponsored by Save Youth Save Future organsiation.
