ANANTNAG, SEPTEMBER 19 A sanitation rally was organized by Government Girls Higher Secondary School Anantnag (Ranibagh) today, in which a large number of students participated.
The rally was flagged off by the ADC Anantnag Showkat Ahmad Rather. The rally passed through various parts of the town, carrying placards regarding the importance of cleanliness and sanitation especially in educational institutions, hospitals and other public places. Emphasis was given on the ban on the use of polythene and other such products. The Principal of the institution, DEPO Anantnag and teachers accompanied the rally.
Later a science exhibition was also organized in which students demonstrated their science models.
