Under-14 girls athletic meet held at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 15: District Level Inter school Athletic meet for Girls Under-14 years today held here at District Police Line Ground, Udhampur.

Organised by department of Youth Services and Sports, under the supervision of  DYSSO, Udhampur , Sudesh Kumar Chalotra, a total of 100 girls from 28 different educational institutions of the district took part in the tournament

SSP, Rayees Mohd Bhat,the Chief guest on the occasion, interacted with the participants  and asked them to take part in games with more dedication and zeal.

In 100 mtr contest, Anjali Devi of GMS bagged the 1st spot whereas Magani  Natasha of MS kotli Bala  and Anshu Devi of GMS, Shakti Nagar  stood  2nd and 3rd  respectively.

In 200 mtr,  Palvi Sharma of  GHS, Malhar Priya of  GHS, seen Brahmana and Vanshika of  GMS, Bharnara remained  1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.

In 400 mtr, Mamta Devi of GMS clinched the top spot whereas Nakki Jyoti of GHS, Babey and Natasha of GMS, Kotli Bala  bagged 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

In  600 mtr, Esha Rani of GMS, Nakki, Artist Devi of GHS, Babey and Rajni Devi of GHS, Dhama stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.

In Long Jump contest, Anshu Devi of GMS, Shakti Nagar and Mamta of GMS, Nakki  sharted 1st and 2nd spot respectively.

In High Jump, Esha Rani of MS Nakki and Anshu of GMS, Shakti Nagar clinched 1st and 2nd spot respectively.

In Shotput, Esha Rani of GMS Nakki emerged as a winner whereas Quresha GMS, Johnu grabbed the 2nd position.

In Discus Throw, Rashi of  GMS, Mageni and Priya Devi of GHS, seen Brahmna clinched 1st and 2nd position respectively.

The officials, who acted as judges track and field events, were  Raj Kumar Gupta, Rakesh Modi, Raj Kumar Dogra, Raman Kumar, Somdev Khajuria, Vinod Khajuria, Rakesh Kumar, Ajeet Singh, Kuldeep Sharma, Kanchan Bala, Neena Devi,  Asha, Meenakshi, and Kumari Nirmal.

Among others, ZPEO, Panchari, Pawan Kumar Sharma ZPEO, Udhampur, Santosh Kumari, ZPEO, Jib, Poonam Sharma,  Subash Chander, Jagdish, Kuldeep, Ved Parkesh, Reena Gupta, Deepika Manhas, Anupama Sharma, Bandana, Jaswinder Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Vishal and Raman Gupta, were present on the occasion.
