“Swachta He Seva” campaign launched in Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 15: With a vision to promote cleanliness in the entire district, Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal (Nodal Officer, SHS), N A Baba kick-started ‘Swachta He Seva’ campaign today from Mini Secretariat, DC Office Ganderbal in presence of District Panchayat Officer, Ganderbal.

During the event, various employees of the line departments and Rural Development Department were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC stressed upon the officers and people to keep the activities under Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) campaign going on a daily basis from 15th Sep- 2018 to 2nd Oct-2018 and after that make it the part of daily life.

Later, the ADDC led the team around the mini-secretariat premises and cleaned up the area.

He further said the drive was launched with the special aim of maintaining sanitation in and around the public places. He said this has to be people’s movement and participation on voluntary-basis can only make this drive a success.

He said people should accord priority to clean water sources, public utility spaces and pathways.
