Mohammad Ashraf, a shopkeeper said, “MCB was apprised umpteen times by the locals about the dysfunctional toilet facility but to no avail.”

A vendor, Nasir Hussain added that hundreds of people would use public convenience here but nowadays there is no water facility and people have to struggle.

“Water connectivity will make toilet points functional. However, MCB seems to be uninterested.”

When contacted, Executive Officer MCB, Syed Nayeem Rizvi, he said, “The basic source of water has less pressure and we would try to provide direct water connectivity to toilet points.”
