Seminar on Moral Education under Khelo-India programme held

RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 13:  One day Seminar on the topic “Moral education is the need of an hour”, organized by the Education Department, was held at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Sangaldan under “Khelo-India” programme.

Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gool, Pankaj Bagotra was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Tehsildar, Gool, Mohammad Ashrif was the Guest of Honour whereas Principal of host school, Gulzar Begum presented the vote of thanks.

Around 35 students from 16 school of Gool Sub Division were participated in the seminar and highlighted the importance of moral education.

Dikesha Devi, a student of GMS Sangaldan, clinched the first position whereas Asia Anjum of HS Dalwaha secured 2nd spot while Monika Devi and Misbha-tun-Nissa of GHSS Sangaldan jointly secured the 3rd position.

Winners and participants were awarded with the prizes by the dignitaries.

Lecturers, Mukhtyar Ahmed and Akhter Hussain of GHSS Sangaldan and Headmaster GMS Sangaldan, Ramesh Singh   were acted as Judge during the seminar while Mohd Ashraf Bali hosted the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the SDM appreciated the participants for stressing on the significance of moral education and said that education system without inclusion of moral values is a system which is incomplete in itself. The most important crux of the education system is the ethics and it is must that these ethics are propagated among the upcoming generations, he added.
