Delhi court grants bail to Zahoor Watali
Srinagar, Sep 13: Delhi High Court on Thursday granted bail to Kashmiri businessman Zahoor Ahmad Watali who was arrested in an alleged funding case.
“He has to furnish a personal bail bond of Rs 2 lakh with surety of same amount and submit his passport,” reported ANI news agency.
Watali has been lodged in Tihar jail since his arrest by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in August last year.
Watali is the third accused in an alleged funding case to be granted bail. Photojournalist Kamran Yousuf and a Kulgam youth Javed Ahmad Bhat were granted bail by the court earlier this year.
