Baramulla, Sep 12: A boy drowned while taking bath in River Jehlum at Seer village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Witness said that the boy drowned in the river Jhelum when he was bathing with other kids at Seer Jagir village of Sopore.
The drowned boy was identified as Rashid Riyaz Dar, son of Riyaz Ahmed Dar or Manzseer Sopore. Efforts were on to fished out his body from the river.
