ADDC Budgam inspects Muharram arrangements at Imam Bara Magam, Sonpah

BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 11: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Budgam, Khurshid Ahmad Sanai, today visited Imam Bara Magam and Sonpah and other areas to take stock of the Muharram arrangements.

During the visit, various public deputations met the ADDC and apprised him of various issues being confronted by them. The ADDC gave a patient hearing to them and assured that all of their genuine demands would be addressed.

Meanwhile, the locals appreciated the role of the district administration in providing the timely services to the residents including surface levelling of lanes and by-lanes, installation of high mast lights at Imam Baras, street lights and restorations of defunct ones in most of the areas from where major processions pass through during the holy month.

Later, the ADDC also chaired a meeting of officers to review the Muharram arrangements and directed the district heads of the PHE, PDD, FCS&CA, Health and Urban Development to ensure prompt delivery of essential services to the people throughout the Muharram days.

The ADDC was accompanied by SDM Beerwah and other officials of various departments.
