GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 10: – District Consultative Committee/District Level Review Committee meeting of District Ganderbal for the quarter June 2018 was convened under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, N.A Baba at Meeting Hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal here today.

The meeting was attended by Reyaz Ahmad Shoga Lead District Manager Ganderbal, Junaid Ahmad Hakeem (DDM NABARD), Farhat Abas Cluster Head, J&K Bank Ganderbal, District officers/line departments and district coordinators of all banks operating in the district.

On the occasion, Chairperson DLRC unveiled the District Credit Plan of the district for the year 2018-19.

At the outset of the meeting, Lead District Manager Ganderbal, Reyaz Ahmad Shoga presented the overall achievements of the banks operating in the district under District Credit Plan 2018-19. He informed the meeting that the banks have disbursed a total amount of Rs 95.84 Crores for establishment of 4187 units up to June 2018 under DCP 2018-19 out of which Rs 41.90 Crores for was extended for establishment of 2304 units under priority sector. Similarly, Rs 53.92 Crores was allotted to establishing 1883 units under non-priority sector registering an achievement of 31%. Out of priority sector Agriculture and allied activities registered 6%, Small enterprises 14%, Education 8% and housing 16%.

ADDC Ganderbal stressed upon the concerned departments and financial institutions to work for overall development of the district with more dedication and sincerity. In this regard he made emphasis on eradication of unemployment of educated youths, for which sponsorship and hassle-free lending facilities is required for new income generating units.

He also advised the financial institutions to sanction/disburse the cases strictly as per the guide lines and in close co-ordination with sponsoring agencies.
