Rajouri, Sep 04: Government forces on Tuesday launched a major search operation in Langer village located close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
A police official said that the students of a local school reported that they saw some suspects roaming in maize fields after which local villagers reported the matter to the police.
He said a joint operation was launched by the police and the army in the area which lasted for several hours.
“The operation was suspended in the evening while teams of police and army are still stationed in the area,” said the official.
