3 CRPF men, civilian wounded in Sangrama grenade blast

Srinagar, Sep 04: Three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and a civilian were wounded in a grenade blast in Sangrama area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

Sources said suspected militants around 11:00 am today hurled a grenade at a CRPF patrolling party of  D/177Bn at Sangrama here that exploded with a bang.

All three injured CRPF men have been identified as constable Radey Shyam, constable Shakeel and constable Daram Das Tiwari.

The civilian was identified as Hilal Ahmed Khandey son of Abdul Qayoom Khandey Resident of Sopore.

Meanwhile, additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area.
