Srinagar: A fire broke out at an army camp near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district this afternoon, causing damage to the property.
The incident happened at the 45 Rashtriya Rifles camp in Machhil sector of north Kashmir. It caused some damage to the property, but there was no loss of life or injury to anyone, an army official said.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot which controlled the fire and doused the flames, the official said, adding that the cause of the fire was being ascertained.
