Baramulla: A non-local woman was arrested by Kreeri Police at Wanigam pattan after allegedly failing to kidnap a minor girl in the area on Sunday.
Reports said the accused was trying to kidnap a minor and locals caught her. She was handed over to police. Her identify is yet to be ascertained.
Officials at Kreeri confirmed the arrest of woman and said she was being brought to police station.
“We have arrested one women at Wanigam Pattan. Further investigation is going on in the matter,” said a senior police official.
