Baramulla, August 18: Days after the expose of fake doctors and illegal clinics in north Kashmir, a team headed by Block Medical Officer Sheeri conducted raids on various clinics and medical shops in Narwav area of Sheeri on Saturday.
The raids were conducted in coordination with police, revenue and drug control department in which four establishments including a drug store, clinics and labs were sealed.
BMO Sheeri Sheikh Farooq told ‘Kashmir Images’ that the raids were conducted on several shops and clinics in Narwav area of Health block Sheerin in which four shops were sealed after they failed to furnish requisite documents. He said that the sealed clinics and drug shops were being run illegally.
“We will take action under law against these violators,” he added.
