Indo-Pak troops exchange sweets at Teetwal

Tanghdar, Aug 15: Indian and Pakistani troops on Wednesday exchanged sweets at Teetwal crossing point here on the occasion of the 72nd Independence Day of India. The sweets were also exchanged on Tuesday, August 14 – the Independence Day of Pakistan – on the same spot.
The ceremony was held at the Indo-Pak joint crossing point Teetwal. The sweets were received by the Pakistani Rangers.
On special occasions like this, forces of both the sides exchange sweets, Brigadier TK Mishra told GNS, adding that the troops of Pakistan exchanged sweets at the same spot on their I-Day function yesterday.
