Annual Urs of Hazrat Mir Syed Shah Sadiq Qalander (RA) concludes at Lar

Ganderbal, Aug 14: A two-day annual Urs of Hazrat Mir Syed Shah Sadiq Qalander (RA) concluded on Tuesday at Lar Ganderbal.

Hazrat Mir Syed Shah Sadiq Qalander (RA) was one of the most revered 11th century Saints in Kashmir.

Thousands of devotees from different parts of the state thronged to Lar during two days of the annual Urs.

On the first day of the Urs, religious preachers highlighted the life and contributions of Hazrat Mir Syed Shah Sadiq Qalander (RA). They emphasized upon people to work for the welfare of humanity and follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be up on him).

On the final day, the devotees offered special prayers at the shrine which resounded with recitations of verses of Holy Quran. Meanwhile, thousands of people had a glimpse of the holy relics of the saint.
