Handjan (Budgam: The Peoples Democratic Party youth leader, Waheed Rahman Parra was attacked by unknown gunman here in the Handjan area on Monday evening. However, Parra escaped unhurt.
While confirming the incident, SSP Budgam, Tejinder Singh said, “We got a complaint from him (Waheed Parra) that his vehicle came under fire in Handjan area.”
He added that police has registered an FIR and investigation has been started.
Meanwhile, Sources from Handjan village said that Parra was here to participate in a condolence meeting where a lady had died few days before.
