Man held for attempt to murder in Samba

Jammu, Aug 13: A man, wanted in an attempt to murder case, was arrested in Samba district today, police said.

Vijay Kumar was arrested following a raid in Vijaypur town, they said.

In another case, Bhupinder Singh, absconding since 2000, was arrested in the Hatli area of Kathua district, police said.

Singh was booked in a case of wrong restraint, causing hurt with dangerous weapon and unlawful assembly, they said.
