Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has strongly condemned the ongoing spree of arrests in Jammu Kashmir on the eve of Independence Day of India.
In a statement issued here, a spokesperson said that JKLF has condemned the arrest of district president of Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) along with Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani Koreg, Ghulam Muhammad Sofi, Rayees Ahmad Sofi, Muhammad Yousuf, Mushtaq Ahmad Goursa, Qaiser Ahmad and others.
Police yesterday raided the house of JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and also has called many others to present them at police stations. JKLF has strongly condemned this undemocratic attitude, said the spokesperson.
