August 12: In view of the forthcoming Independence Day celebration-2018, SSP Kargil Dr. Vinod Kumar chaired a security review meeting in which he interacted with the officers including SHO P/S Kargil, In-charge DSB Kargil, Prosecuting Officer, all In-charge Police Posts falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kargil and all investigating officers at District Conference Hall Kargil.
During the meeting, SSP Kargil gave necessary directions to the participating officers in view of forthcoming Independence Day Celebration-2018, Eid-ul Azha and LAHDC election-2018.
ASP Kargil Arun Gupta who was also present in the meeting, stressed on the participating officers to conduct regular night patrolling, nakas, random checking of vehicles as a preventive measure. He emphasized upon officers to bring every case to its logical conclusion.
Additional SP Kargil took the feedback report of CCTNS project and directions were given to all Investigating officers for visiting CCTNS Lab of PS Kargil periodically to maintain their Case Diaries.
