Bhaderwah: Youth educated about National SC-ST Hub Scheme

BHADERWAH, AUGUST 10:- J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board (JK KVIB) today organized a one day awareness camp on National Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) here at Sarthangal.

The J&K KVIB has been nominated as the Nodal agency for the implementation of NSSH scheme in   State. The action plan under NSSH involves collection of data regarding SC ST MSMEs distribution in the State, climate study of the SC ST MSMEs, organizing Awareness Camps, Workshops, Skill Development Programmes etc.

The programme was attended by the Dy. Chief Executive Officer, KVIB Jammu Division Pawan Kumar Gupta, Dy. Registrar KVIB Rohit Kashyap, District Officer KVIB Nazir Ahmad, Representative RSETI, District President SC ST Association Parveen Kumar, Panchas and Sarpanchas, Representative of State National Rural Livelihood Mission, besides a number of SC ST Entrepreneurs were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Dy. Chief Executive Officer encouraged the SC ST entrepreneurs to share their ideas and get immediate feedback from experts and also evaluate the latest technologies that can potentially help to grow their business.

He informed that the NSSH is an initiative of the Government of India to develop a supportive ecosystem to focus on the growth of SC ST Micro small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). It envisions providing SC, ST MSMEs with access to new markets thereby giving a rise to new employment opportunities and entrepreneur culture.

District President SC ST Association and Dy Registrar KVIB Jammu Division also spoke on the occasion.
