Pardosh Sharma reviews progress of developmental scenario under GSA

BARAMULLA, AUGUST 07: Director Center for Logical Research and Development Studies New Delhi (LORDS) Pardosh Sharma, who is also the National Level Monitoring Nodal Officer of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan   today chaired a meeting of officers here at Dak Bungalow Baramulla to review the progress of implementation of various schemes and flagship programmes in key sectors that comes under the purview of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan in centrally sponsored “Aspirational Districts Programme”.

On the occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla briefed about the status of implementation of various schemes and programmes. He presented a detailed account of achievements made under various schemes besides highlighting the quantum of activities that were carried under Gram Swaraj Abhiyan. He also presented the thorough account of achievements in other sectors including PDD, agriculture, horticulture, FSC&CA, Rural Development Department and Health.

Meanwhile, Pardosh Sharma took a thorough review of the implementation of all components under the Abhiyan wherein he stressed upon the concerned to ramp up the pace of work so that the remaining components are achieved in stipulated time frame. He exhorted upon the officers to deploy additional men and machinery in expediting the pace of work.

Sharma called for effective coordination between various agencies so that qualitative services are delivered for the overall welfare of the people at the earliest. He also sought suggestions and feedbacks from officers for the overall effective implementation of various programmes and schemes in the developmental field. Moreover, he stressed for working with more synergy and enthusiasm so that the district is developed at par with other developing districts of country.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Farooq Ahmad Baba, Assistant Development Commissioner, District and Sectoral officers besides Engineers from Line Department were present in the meeting.
