Civil Society Kangan elects its executive Body

Kangan, Aug 08: Civil Society Kangan on Sunday held its first ever election for appointing its executive body with Ali Muhammad being elected as the chairman.

The Election was conducted in a cordial atmosphere at Kangan in presence of the members from Civil Society Ganderbal Dr Rafiq Lone and Mudasir Hamid. it is pretinent to mention here  that Civil Society Kangan is the offshoot  of Civil Society Ganderbal and was formed in the month of March 2018 with a temporary body .

All of the elected candidates were elected unopposed the elected body include Ali  Mohammad Wani Chairman, Firdous Ahmad  Rather  Vice- Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf  General Secretary, Mohammad Yusuf Paswal  Secretary, Bashir Ahmad Mir  Joint Secretary, Manzoor Ul Islam  Organiser and Aijaz Ahmad Bhat as Treasurer.

On the occasion civil society kangan also adopted its Constitution which was drafted by its constituent member Advocate Abid Jeelani.

Many speakers while addressing the occasion stressed for a need to be consistent for working for the development of Sub-division Kangan, and gave many suggestions for making Civil Society a vibrant developmental platform of the Sub Division Kangan.

On the occasion, SHO Kangan Khurshid Ahmad, and other person including Irfan Naqsbandi, Sheikh Aijaz ,Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Yaqoob, Sheikh Bashir and Gani Nizampori spoke about role of civil society .
