LeT Chief disowns ‘designated terrorists’
Srinagar: Mahmood Shah, Chief Lashkar-e-Taiba Jammu Kashmir in an emailed statement said that the persons enlisted by US Treasury, namely Abdul Jabbar, Hameed-ul-Hassan or others, have no links with Lashkar-e-Taiba.
“In contrast, Lashkar-e-Taiba abides by the UN Resolutions. It is the same UN Resolutions which provide the ground for an indigenous armed freedom struggle in Jammu-Kashmir,” he said in the statement.
He further said that Lashkar-e-Taiba has no setup or establishment of any sorts outside Jammu Kashmir.
“Our armed indigenous struggle against illegal Indian occupation will continue until the last of Indian forces have quit Kashmir,” he added.
