Jammu: Pakistan troops violated ceasefire by firing on Indian posts along Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, drawing retaliation from Army, a defence spokesman said today.

One Army jawan was reported to have been injured in the ceasefire violation.

Pakistani troops opened fire on forward posts along LoC in Nowshera sector tonight, Defence spokesman said.

Indian troops guarding the LoC retaliated resulting in exchanges which is still going on, he said.

According to reports, one jawan has suffered injuries and has been hospitalised.
