Srinagar: President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC), Abdul Qayoom Wani today said that not bringing SSA teachers, Head Teachers and RMSA Masters under 7th Pay Commission was unfortunate and unacceptable and asked the government to resolve by issue by 8th August.
A spokesman of EJAC in a statement said that Wani made this statement after discussing these issues in a meeting with other senior leaders of EJAC.
The statement said that it was decided in the meeting that if the issues were not resolved by August 8, a symbolic peaceful demonstration under the banner of EJAC will be held from Sher-i-Kashmir Park to Civil Secretariat on 9th of August to present a memorandum to the Governor.
