Srinagar, Jul 29: Jul 29: At least nine persons were injured after a car collided with an SUV on Bhadarwah-Doda highway in Doda district on Sunday.
Reports said a car (PB37P-5784) was on its way to Doda from Bhadarwah when it collided with another vehicle (JK06A-0011) coming from the opposite direction at Pranoo, 20 km from Bhadarwah, on Doda-Bhadarwah highway.
“Soon after the accident, police reached at the spot and along with locals shifted all the injured persons to District Hospital Doda,” said a police officer.
The injured have been identified as Fareed Ahmed (50), Nazia Naz (46), Momin (16), Mutyan (11) , Maria (09), Bashir Ahmed (38), Abdul Latief, and Hafiza Begun (45).
