Srinagar: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, who was on leave, was shot at in Pulwama district and later succumbed to his injuries.

Sources said that one CRPF personnel, Naseer Ahmad Rather, who was on leave, was shot at by militants at his home in Naira Pulwama. Naseer was posted with 82 BN CRPF, Pulwama.

He was rushed to District Hospital Pulwama in injured condition where he reportedly succumbed to his injuries, sources said.
